Courses In Applied Social Surveys

CASS is a programme of short courses in applied social surveys run by the Southampton Statistical Sciences Research Institute (S3RI) at the University of Southampton and is part of the ESRC National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM). CASS continues the successful short course programme established in 1995 as part of the Centre for Applied Social Surveys, an ESRC Resource Centre. Since Oct 2013, CASS also incorporates courses part of the Administrative Data Research Centre for England (ADRCE), a major ESRC investment into Big Data.

CASS provides short courses for academic social scientists and applied researchers in government, market research and the independent and voluntary sectors. The programme covers topics in survey design and implementation, survey sampling, data collection and data analysis methods. Read more.
